Teeny Tiny

il_430xN.11527273.jpg

We’ve been trying to switch to a smaller everyday bag because in the final analysis, we probably don’t reallyneed to take four books, two notebooks, a magazine, 20 crumpled pieces of paper, and a partridge in a pear tree with us every single time we leave the house.

Then we found these mini canvas totes from Swan Clothing on etsy.com, and we think they’re adorable and the perfect size to force you to take just the things you need.

The bags are handmade from unbleached heavy cotton canvas, and have a silver chain handle. They’re also fully customizable - you can choose what color stripes of ribbon you would like to adorn your mini-tote.

They remind us a little of Goyard bags, except they don’t cost ten billion dollars, and last time we checked you couldn’t get knock-offs of these guys on Canal St.

These are super cute, but I'm the complete opposite, I need a HUGE bag so I can throw in notebooks and magazines and assorted other crap.

they have really gigantic ones too, but I don't like the design nearly as well. I saw these a few weeks ago on etsy and I really wished the large bags looked like the small ones...

I had a tiny bag that I loved for the summer, but for F/W, totally need the big bag.

im always trying to downsize too!! ITS SO HARD.
everytime i bring a clutch or small bag out during the day i feel so proud and accomplished that i could narrow down what i need to 4-5 things!
(my back also feels much better than when i lug around a 15lb beast bag)
these look cute and charming, but a little too casual if you're not into totes.

hi :) thanks for blogging me. and i really appreciate the feedback. it's so important. i will be making a mid size as well. the idea of putting the solid swan graphic on the larger totes is interesting. i thought of doing that. and now maybe i will :)
