When it comes to hats, we think of ourselves as fairly open-minded. Fedoras, berets, wide-brimmed floppy or straw hats for the beach - all of these are acceptable and reasonably options. But what about the top hat? US Weekly has a photo story showcasing celebs wearing tall hats, including Sienna in a black velvet number, and Mary-Kate sporting a satin topper. We've always thought of top hats as reserved for Abraham Lincoln and the little dude on the Monopoly box. Is this a trend that is so cool and visionary that we can't even fathom it yet, or is the frenzied last hurrah of the hat; an apocalyptic celebration of its imminent demise? --ALISON COOL
