However, whatever fabric that is that Lam used is gorgeous. Also, his bodice draping, or whatever, is much smoother and more beautiful. But, damn, $3K. This is a very basic shape made beautiful by the fabric selection and the execution of the style. Does it drape as well in the knock-off? Haven't knock-offs been around forever? Obviously, Derek Lam should make a more economical version. The jersey version is OK, but I don’t like the model. However, whatever fabric that is that Lam used is gorgeous.
