Blair Waldorf is Emmy Rossum

We can pretend that we’re interested in Emmy Rossum’s wardrobe, and to a certain extent, that could be true:

She’s bravely embracing the “hats indoors” trend, seems hell-bent on looking like the Southern California answer to Eponine in Les Mis, and recently abandoned her Ralph Lauren connection in search of something bigger.

But really, the reason we’re glued to this MySpace video about Emmy’s newest outfit is because she’s Blair Waldorf, for real.

The face, the gestures, the voice… it’s bugging us, in the best possible way.

If somebody’s smart, they’ll cast Emmy and Leighton Meester together in a movie.

Meanwhile, if you’re in a movie, we recommend you follow the trend-hugging fashion advice in this video.

How will the press know you’re up-and-coming unless you dare to sport a ratty cashmere beret on the red carpet?

What happened to the video? But I do agree that Emmy does dress and act like Blair or the opposite.

I'm sorry, she is just cringe-inducing. I prefer version 2.0 to the original. Maybe I should have watched this on mute.

She's a chatty girl.

The second outfit at Milk - the top looks like that Chanel blouse from a couple of seasons back that Kirsten Dunst wore in W magazine (and a couple of pap pics) and that Lindsay Lohan wore a bit later (looking a lot worse than Kirsten).

And seriously, what is with her Enya/Imogen hybrid knockoff of a sound?

I think Emmy is gorgeous and cute, her style is classic and elegant.
I dont get what is so "cringe-inducing" about her. She is wellspoken and eloquent.
Her voice is amazing and her acting is good.
