i have to say, EVERYONE has coach, they are cute bags but are really played out now, iv never owned a coach bag and at this point i wouldnt want to.

Laura, Woodbury is definitely not 30-45 minutes from NYC. Its more like an hour and a half. And everywhere north of NYC is upstate to us, that’s just how we are.
I love Coach, but I refuse to carry signature pieces simply because they’re everywhere, especially the fakes. That’s why I only use the leather bags that people don’t even realize are from Coach.

woodbury is 30-45 minutes from the city? yeah right. maybe if you’re driving at 4:00 am while breaking the speed limit.
anyway, i’d love to know where these “handbag shoppers” were interviewed & where they are from.

Not sure what this means, but I just opened my mail and it contained a coupon from Coach for 25 percent off any full-priced bag next week from a Coach store.

Remember that E-40 song, “Captain Save a Ho”, there was that line “make his ass buy you a Dooney & Burke”. I wonder if that helped sales…
The only people I see carrying Dooney & Burke bags are black ladies too.

I really resent the fact that everyone refers to this area as upstate. We’re 30-45 min from NYC, I don’t think that qualifies.
I’m not a big Coach fan, myself – some of the bags without the extreme amount of logos are alright but otherwise, I feel like it’s a bit much for me to carry on a daily basis.

Sometimes I see certain non-logo Coach bags that I immediately fall in love with. However, at risk of sounding “cunty” – when I see who’s carry the Coach bag I immediately decide I don’t want one.
Coach, LV (Speedy) and Tiffany are all brands that are limited to the spoiled brat suburbanites and housewives.

I agree, I really dislike Coach as well. I love my Michael Kors bag. It is one of the best bags I’ve ever owned. The quality and wear is amazing.

I would generally say, brand-wise, I really dislike Coach… and would even go so far to say I prefer to distance myself from most of the women/girls who carry Coach.
All that aside, I have been carrying an $800 Coach bag all freakin year. The Legacy Leather ‘Mandy’… it’s my everyday-takes-a-beating-bag… and still looks better with wear each week. But it’s not a logo-covered bag.

I bought my very first Coach bag at Woodbury Commons Coach Outlet!!! That store is amazing, it’s huge and they have TONS of bags, along with cool accessories like coats, umbrellas, shoes, business accessories, etc.
It is a wonderland.
Did I also mention there is a Barney’s outlet? … loubies on the cheap, girls!
