Right now, there are two big rows in fashion:
One is the overpriced line by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.
The other is the one in the front of Marc Jacobs’ fashion show. And guess which one gets more attention?
Seating for the Marc Jacobs show begins about a month before it actually happens. It’s a fine art to balance buyers and celebrities, editors and princesses - especially when they’ll be squeezed next to each other for two hours (Did you hear that, Suzy Menkes? Two hours!).
New York Look tackles Marc’s front row, identifying those important enough to earn a spot on the bench at his Spring ‘08 show. We love the captions: Bee Shaffer, “Undergrad, Columbia,” Victoria Beckham, “Spice Girl,” Dan Baker Jr., “Plastic Surgery Heir”.
But unfortunately, more than one gets the label “?”.
We really want to know who the lucky question mark is between Terry Richardson and Ellen Von Unwerth? And who looks bored next to Mischa Barton? The surprised, shaggy man next to Sheryl Crow? And of course, we know at least one of these question marks is a show crasher!
