Isaac Mizrahi Cries Wolf

isaac mizrahiiii.jpg
It’s no secret that Isaac Mizrahi loves the stage - the designer graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan, made a faux documentary about fashion, and recently headlined a cabaret act at Joe’s Pub.

Now he’ll perform again, in Prokofiev’s classic children’s piece, Peter and the Wolf.

The performance takes place at the Guggenheim Museum, and highlights the young artist Andrew Scott Ross, who was commissioned to create huge paper sculptures for the performance.

The show runs December 15 - 17th, with tickets available for $35 each - want them? Call 212-423-3587.

The event is part of Works & Process, a Guggenheim program that helps show how artists develop their ideas and pieces - which sounds a little like Isaac’s own show on The Style Network, where his TV set was also his studio, and he would cut patterns as he interviewed celebrities like Shalom Harlow.

I miss his show on Style Network! It was much more fun than the View.
