“They Say That I Have the Best Ass Below 14th Street… Is It True?”

james jeans tom straight leg.jpgWe never realized thay guys actually paid attention to jeans until last year.

It was on a third date, the first time we were wearing our Ben Sherman Shrimptons.

“Wow,” said the guy, “Your butt looks, uh…”

It was pretty funny, and even though we don’t dress for a guy’s approval, it was also pretty nice. Who doesn’t like to get noticed for being a little bit sexy?

With that in mind, we present a new favorite pair of pants, from James Jeans, which actually do make your ass look unbelievable - thanks to some darting in the back.

A nice little bonus- the company tries to produce their lines in an ethically responsible manner. They dry their jeans in the California sun rather than in industrial driers, they use biodegradable dyes- they even wash one of their white jeans in recycled L.A. Times.

Look for their 100% organic collection hitting stores this spring. It won’t be any more expensive than their other lines- James Jeans is eating the extra cost of organic production so you can shop organic without it costing you any extra.

Until then, we suggest their Tom Straight Leg style. They have a dusty gray wash for fall, and- the real reason why we’re hooked on James- the back pockets have been designed for optimal rear views. Other styles are available at Barneys and Scoop in NYC and, of course, Shopbop.

i'm going to ignore how great that model's ass looks (do not need to buy $150 jeans right now) and instead comment on how much i love Rent. not quite a Rent-head but i do love it.

Aaaah, now my secret is out! These jeans are amazing, and they don't have any embellishment on the pockets so they're not all brand-whorey.

Anonymoose--thanks for that. I'm also not quite a Rent-head, but I've had practically the whole soundtrack memorized for years. Er...maybe I shouldn't have just admitted that...

Love hearing about the secret green life of non-"eco" designers. Wish I were drying in the CA sun right now...

Ugh. If I wore jeans that made my ass look that flat, my boyfriend would dump me.
