L.A.-based designer Jesse Kamm caught our eye with her line of beautifully printed dresses, tops, vests, scarves, and more. Each print is based on one of Kamm’s original one-of-a-kind drawings, and is then printed on simple, but well-tailored pieces that would look right at home in any well-dressed girl’s closet.
We love how Kamm incorporates printing and craft techniques, but keeps her designs elegant and sophisticated rather than cutesy.
There’s absolutely no danger of your outfit being confused with an elementary school art project. Which as much as we love and support the handmade craft design movement, we have to admit is sometimes one of its pitfalls.
Each of her limited-edition designs is handmade by Kamm, who takes inspiration from artists Zandra Rhodes and Celia Birtwell. Stockists include Colette, Kaviar and Kind, and Ylli.
