This Wednesday’s Project Runway guest judge is Bon Jovi!

Our first instinct was to freak out because we think there’s a good chance he’ll favor fellow Jersey boy Kevin.
Then we freaked out because this means the contestants will have to design menswear, which we’re betting many have never done. Also, what about the models – will they wear men’s clothing on the runway, or just sit out a week in favor of some cute guys?
Bon Jovi’s decision to appear on the show is pretty strange, too- we’ve never considered him a fashion icon, and we’re pretty sure he would agree. But he did appear on American Idol last year- maybe he’s gearing up for a comeback with the kids?

um I don’t know if I’m the only one: but I’m pretty darn pissed off that this website decided to ruin this surprise for me. I was really excited to watch the episode and find out who the surprise guest judge would be…and then you had to go and ruin it for everyone. Thanks…

Oooo, Fasionista, you ruined someone’s Wednesday night surprise! I’m okay with the spoiler, considering the anti-climactic nature. Why are the designers so shocked in the preview? I’d think they would say, “Oh, Bon Jovi, that’s kinda cool. So where’s the big-time guest judge?”

I find it strange for JBJ to go through project runway for some publicity. Wouldn’t Jay Leno, Dave L, Saturday Night Live or something else along those lines be a better fit for him as far as added exposure? I don’t associate JBJ with fashion, but as long as the viewers enjoy it I guess… who cares.
I don’t want to be rude. But maybe you could wait to discuss these things until after the shows have aired. Or at least give a warning you are going to reveal details. I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
eek. After seeing JBJ on Sat. Night Live it was clear he needed a fashion intervention and now he is judging. Truly frightening!
