Would You Rather Stop Sex or Shopping?

There’s nothing more satisfying than finding that dress you’ve been eyeing for a great price. Not even…sex? According to the U.K. Daily Mail, four in ten British women surveyed preferred shopping to sex.

At first, we were kind of surprised by the statistics.

Then we remembered a crucial detail: England is the home of Topshop, the greatest store on earth! And from our assessment of the guys in London, Topshop dresses are by far cuter than the average British bloke.

Faran wants to know if you’d rather be pretty or in a relationship, but we’re curious – could you hold out longer without shopping or without sex?

Since I'm in a relationship, I'd go longer without shopping, but if I were single, I'd go longer without sex because with shopping, if you haven't done it for a while because you don't have much money, or you're not really sure what you want, you can buy yourself a little trinket, or a cheap dress you might wear only once. But with sex, I try to avoid the "so what if these shoes hurt my feet a little, at least they're cheap" attitude.

It's so hard to resist either -- you come across so many cute boys and shoes in NYC. But...I'd rather go home with a pair of shoes that turned out to be cheap and disappointing than a guy who turned out to be cheap and disappointing. So I'd say I've been without sex longer than without shopping.

I'm currently in a long distance relationship, so unfortunately the choice is made for me. However, I've never made the connection before, but perhaps I have replaced sex with shopping. Its an interesting theory.

I've been abroad for two months while my boyfriend remains faithful at home in Philadelphia. Needless to say, I've gone shopping 2 or 3 times a week.

I was really in doubt about it, but then I read this comment... Yes, I prefer to have a dress that I don't really like in my closet than have sex and get disapointed...

I'm single. I'm also kind of broke lately so I haven't gone shopping lately and have dealt pretty well. Granted, I LOVE buying things but I think I'd go with sex over shopping.

I don't know if I am not a true fashionista then, but I would prefer sex over shopping anyday. I am in a long distance relationship as well, and it does seem that I have replaced our relationship time w/ shopping which is rather sad. Plus my money is going down the drain. With the right attitude sex relieves stress and best of all: it's free.

who cares about sex when you can shop!. When i buy a great looking outfit, it's orgasmic!!!!!!
