(After a brief trip to Los Angeles, our pool boy, the stylist Josh Madden, is back with a follow up post...)

noon and you're wearing Uggs in public, you should either be in middle school, pregnant, or walking in the snow. But on a day like today, when it's cold but not frosty, there's really no excuse.

Maybe we should look at some alternatives - like personally, I'm obsessed with the moccasin.

It's a continuation of one of my favorite growing trends of the last few years, the boat shoe, and to me it makes sense that you're wearing those sweet Sperry Topsiders in the summer and switching it up to these in the winter, doesn't it?

Ok I'm with you on the moccasin obsession...but I have the Ugg moccasins. Is that still a dealbreaker? Because they are SO comfy.

I'm gonna get them tomorrow. So cheap. I guess it doesnt need to look warm to be warm. Like who needs fat ugly boots. I personally think that all this winter stuff is made to look so warm but you dont need to look warm to be warm. I like their idea of hiding the wellie warmer under a nice shoe.

Re: the Serhorn shoes... fleece is NOT warm. Those may keep your feet a tad warmer in your wellies, but they are no match for 20 degrees.

Ladies, the moccasins in the pick are the minnetonka brand. Having tried them on, I can say they are very comfy and scrumptiously warm (except for obviously that exposed part of your foot). They are also moderately priced- I think something like 40- but I have issues with them (and some of you may too), due the very soft yet very much bunny rabbit fur adornment there. The mocs are cute, but my bunny is cuter and fuzzier.(I'm not judging though if you are fine with the fur, it's just not my thing)
