Quote of the Day

“I have also begun to think the unthinkable. That people in L.A are not stupid after all. Could this be an extremely sophisticated, somewhat cruel joke that they are playing on the world, pretending to be shallow, self-absorbed and unable to make a left turn? Is this a cunning plan to fool us into underestimating them so they can take over? Mmm.” - Franklin Getchell, partner of home furnishings company Moss, on Los Angeles, in The Moment.

i've always said that people in new york pretend to be smarter than they are, while people in LA pretend to be dumber than they are. in reality, they are probably equal in intelligence.
