Kimball Hastings for Ralph Lauren!

Kimball Hastings in Paper Magazine We hear the official Style Blogger, Teen Vogue's Kimball Hastings, is leaving his fabulous post.


The dapper (and very smart) Mr. Kimball will soon help Ralph Lauren with public relations, specifically the part where young, hip starlets are wrangled into Ralph's older classic silhouettes.

"They need it," said our source, "Because the brand has a lot of resources but maybe not that much of a cool factor anymore."

We bet Kimball will be perfect at that - in his tenure at Teen Vogue, he convinced Camilla Belle into a Givenchy gown for the Met Ball, and Taylor Momsen into a Peter Som dress for Cannes. We expect to see his famous friends like Mischa Barton and Michelle Trachtenberg in some serious R.L. outfits, plus a name-drop in Gossip Girl that outshines the Erikson Beamon plug.

I saw him at Teen Vogue Fashion U and he was great speaker. I never knew he went into pre-med at first.

Ok, like....I don't really care about Kimball Hastings or Teen Vogue OR Ralph Lauren.

I just wanted to say, I love the wallpaper with the lavander trees in that picture of him. How gently surreal.

Just a correction...Camilla Belle wore Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture to the Met Ball, not Givenchy...It was amazing!!!! I wonder who the first R.L. girl will be?!!

Kimball's little known facts:
As a child he was one of few choosen to be in the Talented and Gifted Program.
(Even at a young age he stood out)
He went to college at 16 and completed his senior year of high school and freshman year in one.
In middle school he tutored high school science students.
He's played the drums since age 8 and is a natural with music.
Fluent in French and spent his summers living in France in his early teens.
Grew up hiking and snowboarding in the Adirondacks. Spent his 15th birthday celebrating in New Orleans. Spent his 17th birthday dancing in Montreal.
What a boy!!!!And there are so many other amazing things we just don't have time.
