Karl Lagerfeld has been exhibiting his clothing for years, but now it's time for his furniture. On December 18, the Chanel designer launches a show called "European 20th Century Greek Revival" which features vases, chairs, and tables photographed by The Kaiser Chief himself. The exhibit takes place at 440 Lafayette Street in Soho, which isn't so far from Chanel's Soho boutique - though the most expensive thing we've ever seen there was a handbag, not a neoclassical vase. It runs through March 15, and we'd actually recommend going on the later side - For starters, you're probably already exhausted from Art Basel's sensory overload, and then there's another thought: Since Chanel's Fall '07 show happens in April, you might be able to search for influences from the various pieces that have inevitably been knocked off by Pottery Barn. The show's launch party is on Monday, December 17 - we don't know if Karl is actually coming...
