My Heart Goes Boop Boop

Anatomical Heart Necklace.jpg If you know your right ventricle from your left, you can probably appreciate the "anatomical heart necklace”, ($65) from Brooklyn-based Analogous Jewelry, more than others.

A delicate silver outline – which on first glance looks like an artsy abstract design – forms the contours of a real human heart.

The shape is solid cast in sterling silver, and dangles low, so it's perfect for layering.

It’s a little edgier than the ubiquitous heart locket, and a little less gross than a full-on replica of a beating heart - a pretty funny Valentine's Day present, if you're already sick of thinking about the current holidays.

while it's cute, it's not exactly close to how the heart really looks like. you can't really see the left atrium. oh well. the medical bit of my lifestyle just bit into the fashion loving side of my life.

Actually, a Minneapolis jewelry designer already designed this item at least a year ago. http://www.emmalychee.com/necklaces.html
