What you could get if you bid on one of WWD's six designer stockings on eBay tonight:
1. From Stella McCartney: A boat load of her Adidas yoga gear, products from her Care organic skincare line.
2. From Badgley Mischka: Their very own Barbie, a certificate for a portrait session with photographer Gilles Bensimon (bikini and desert background not included).
3. From Oscar de la Renta: A cashmere stole, an alligator clutch
4. A warm fuzzy feeling since all proceeds benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels.
Since the stockings are filled with hand-picked gifts from the designers themselves, we're betting the auction is going to start around a gazillion dollars. The most cost-effective move might be to go for the Anthropologie sock - not only is the biggest (the model for WWD actually fit inside,) but it's filled with the most stuff - and since it's not "designer," we think it'll go for a little less.
The auction starts at 10pm EST, so you might have to multitask if you're planning on watching the new Project Runway.
