We loved Marchesa’s trompe l’oeil necklace dresses for fall, which inspired us to seek out a bib necklace that we could pair with tops and dresses for a similar effect.
Our favorite bib necklace comes from jewelry label Jalea Jalea, from Mexico-based designer Tatiana Sánchez.
From far away, the necklace looks like an intricate abstract design, but on closer inspection, you see that the pattern is made up of the outlined shapes of flowers, apples, cherries, and hummingbirds.
Depending on what you’re wearing it with, you can flip the reversible necklace over. The gleamy brass side stands out when paired with a darker-colored dress or shirt, whereas the black acrylic side of the necklace looks great with a white or pale ensemble.
