When we ran to Barneys last spring to grab a piece of Kate Moss for Topshop, we had our heart set on the floral mini-dress - but alas, when we threw it on we looked so far from Kate, we almost cried. Then we spent the summer wistfully watching the dress walk by on sidewalks from Brooklyn to the Upper East Side; we still wanted it, but took comfort in the fact that no one looked like Kate. We thought we'd seen the last of it, but TopShop doesn't want you to forget that cap-sleeved dress. In what might be our strangest case of Adventures in Copyright, the British chain has stolen Kate's design, (which was for Topshop), changed the color palette to wintery purple, black and ivory, and offered it in another of its themed departments. The best part is that you can still purchase a version of Kate's, the Sunny Flower Puff Sleeve Dress, online. But if you'd rather have the Ditsy Print Tea dress, well - we can't tell the difference.
