Vans has long been known for their fashion collaborations, including sneakers with Marc Jacobs, Trovata, Loomstate, and Luella Bartley.
Now the skater sneaker company is launching a series for Fall 2008 that draws attention to something different:
Women in art.
We hear Vans will launch a small and limited-edition collection of sneakers designed by female artists and illustrators, to be released next September.
If you can wait that long, you could score these incredible designs by New York artist Keren Richter.
If not, well -
A pair of plain white canvas Vans, some Sharpie paint pens, and a good Led Zepplin album, and you could do something gorgeous on your own.

Are these for real? Of course, I will wait till next September! I have never been good with pens myself, so I guess I will just have to wait.
