When Luella's Patti skirt hit the runway last year (on Suvi K.), it immediately made our must-have list. The only problems: 1. It was $180 (actually not bad for a Luella item, but still). 2. It was very hard to score in the States, unless you camped out for weeks on Net-A-Porter for their sadly small shipment. 3. After it sold out, the Luella website resurrected the skirt sale, but for double the price. So yesterday in Target, we spotted an Erin Fetherston leftover. It shared the length and the materials (velvet and rayon) as the Luella skirt, but it cost $4.92, which is about our daily Starbucks allowance. It's not Luella, and that's sigh-worthy, but it was a pretty good compromise and it looks adorable with a thermal, some black tights, and slouchy boots. It's more expensive - $17.50 - on the Target website, but still worth exploring...
