I'm 99% sure they (Wet n' Wild) has a color like this. I remember spilling it on my basement floor in 7th grade :-/

This post alone will make hundreds of fashionistas out there spend the evening tonight painting their nails dark blue. =)

RE: Rockmantica - ...or desperately trying to mix together wet & wild shades like it's a chem lab experiment.
i've pretty much always preferred blacks, greys, and browns for neutral colors but i just bought a navy coat that i'm in love with from the Sunner sample sale the other week. i think i'll skip on the navy nails though.

It's still available on Nordstrom.com
And I agree with the poster who said that there's NOTHING like Chanel nail polish. Goes on like a dream, the color is super-rich and saturated, and it lasts forever on your nails...
I have bottles of Chanel polish from years ago, and with a couple of shakes, it looks as good as the day I purchased it (same with YSL nail polish, except that stuff will totally stay on your nails forever... you have to use hella remover to get it off if you've had it on over a week).

I have this nail polish. And while I have felt skeptical of blue nail polish before, and wondered whether it really matters whether it's Chanel or not ... this is a really great polish. The color when it's on your nails is very, very dark blue, and it's a great quality polish.

That photo of Blue Satin is kind of misleading? It actually looks like a flat (but rich) indigo/navy color when I put it on my nails. OPI Russian Navy is shimmery, and some of the shimmer comes from red particles so it looks slightly purplish. I love both colors. I hate the brush for the OPI polishes, though.

Ever since I first heard about this polish I've been meaning to pick up some Wet 'n' Wild Denim Chrome. My sister wore it for about a year or two straight when she was in middle school. It's the only time I've ever seen someone actually finish a bottle of nail polish and have to get another one.
So I'm intrigued by this mixing (or, I'm assuming, layering... perhaps like that one - Harry Potter, was it? - chick Fashionista spotted backstage at fashion week) of shades.
Perhaps Denim Chrome isn't as close to the Chanel color as I had imagined.

crap, i was loving rocking the opi russian navy after seeing it on the philip lim runway...now you're telling me i everyone who hasn't already been wearing it will? maybe this will be a quick fad and i can go back to wearing it by summer...i'd rather look passe than in the middle of a trend.

Ooooh, pretty. Care to tell us which Wet n Wild colors to mix?
