I wish I could read your handwriting...last year's hun? forbidding editors?

She is the new face (check out the ads in the new W mag). And this is a head-to-toe look if ever there was one (I mean really, would you wear either piece - separately or together)? Looks great in an editorial shot on a leggy model, though.

I bet Balenciaga did (again). When Jennifer wore it on the red carpet she wore the shoes too. I think they were the regular/ non knee high version, but definitely they were the same.

i think it was
daria looks great in this outfit. So did natalia... four months ago... on the runway.. did balenciaga reinstate last year's memo forbidding editors from beaking up runway looks?
Where did jennifer wear this?

I think this when you really think models are models. The outfit looks great on Daria, but it looked hideous on Jennifer Connelly when she wore it to some gala or event (don't recall what it was). No offense to Jennifer, but I must be frank.

i agree with the above poster. here's the photo of jennifer in the dress at a movie premiere: http://www.imnotobsessed.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/jennifer-tara.jpg
the outfit always looks great on models. it looks bad on jennifer even in the spring08 ads.

Separating the two would be wrong, I think the shoes compliment the dress's shape. And Jennifer Connelly looks great in the ads, what is everyone else talking about?

But really, since when does US Vogue shoot anything but total looks? I'm sure we'll see more interesting ways of wearing either shoes or dress in other fash magz.

I think Daria makes the dress stand out. I also saw this Balenciaga dress (or style, you know) on Jennifer Connelly. She also looked great. I might be wrong, but I believe she was named the new face for the brand.
