What’s the Russh?

russh cover.jpgWe’re suckers for scandal, even in other countries - so when we heard the Aussie magazine Russh was filing a lawsuit for slander, we had to know what happened.

Apparently, rumors started that the fashion glossy was folding, but actually, Editor Charlotte Scott and Creative Director Trevor Stones have resigned - but Russh isn’t going anywhere.

Instead, it’s launching a new issue on February 27th.

Whether it can live up to past issue favorites - like their Julia Restoin Roitfeld interview, their Agyness Deyn cover, or the Abbey Lee editorial that lead to her Testino-shot D&G campaign - isn’t something we know… yet…

I would be so disappointed if Russh was folding, it's one of the best Australian fashion magazines around.

so so so in love with russh magazine! Every issue is action packed with great editorials, unique lay-outs, and interesting articles that don't just recycle the same old tired trends. A recent issue just had an extensive article on Grey Gardens (which admittedly has had a popularity renaissance of late) that gave a fresh take on the subject.

wish they had something like that mag homegrown in N. America.

also wish it weren't so s'pensive! But there's still bang for your buck.
