Thanks for the SF tip, sadly I won't be able to go until Monday. God knows if there will be anything left. Somebody post about their findings or lack there of, PLEASE!

@ FWD where are you? I called the SF stores and they know nothing about a sale. Is it just the NY boutiques?

Not happening in Boston, the salesgirls told me its only in NY and LA, and when I called the NY store they said only 50 pairs of shoes were 90% off. 50 pairs, not styles. Most of the shoes were in awkward sizes and styles as well, so if your a 5 or an 11 1/2, call the Bleeker street store asap. A pair of those hideous sock-attached MJ boots could be in your closet as soon as UPS can ship 'em! Lucky Girl....

This is just one of those many times I hate myself for still being in high school... Think there will still be any by 3???

Don't feel badly - you guys didn't miss anything. Yes, pretty much only awkward sizes (mostly 35, and since MJ runs small, that's like, what, a US size 4?) and only a few styles. The "hideous" sock attached shoes were there, plus some other knee-high and ankle boots, some of which were ok, nothing spectacular.

I went to the LA sale and they had some cute stuff other than the shoes with the socks attached, like the laced up heals, but only in size 36, stuff was flying off the walls.

You were wrong about the SF sale being at the regular MJ store. I was there early all ready and there was nothing. :( And marc jacobs shoes definitely do not run small. They run big. My loubs are a size and a half bigger than my marc jacobs, as are...all my other shoes.

So there is no SF sale at all? Not at Maiden Lane or Fillmore? I thought it was a bit strange, because last time when they had their shoe and apparel sale at 40% off, on Black Friday, my sales Sergey, called me.
And if Marc Jacobs shoes run big on you, or whomever, I am so jealous! I have wide feet, and I don't even attempt to squeeze my feet into those super narrow flats! I usually go up a size to wear mjs. Those of you with narrow feet are so lucky...

btw. i got 3 pairs of the ankle boots (black, white, red). a pair of brown flats (the ONLY pair they had) at the marc by marc store on bleeker. a pair of oxfords, black pumps, and tan bootsies at the marc store on 4th and bank. i'm a size 6.5 (36).
(my mom also scored 4 pairs and she's a size 40)
the ones with socks attached looks horrible... but i might just not have enough imagination. :)

I'm in NY and wear a size 8.5, and I got a very nice selection of shoes today. I got the Mary Jane boots at the M by MJ store, and they're adorable. Then I went over to the regular MJ store and got 3 pair of fantastic pumps.
Now I just need a big handbag sale!

Color me jealous of people who live in areas with mj boutiques. I'm also jealous of those who live near the DSWs that got mbmj shoes in stock at 80% off the DSW price.
I did score the fall 07 mbmj cap toe mary jane flats and mid-height heels on a pretty significant discount (like 70-75% off). But 90% off seems unheard of!

Merci Beaucoup Fashionista! I bought 2 pairs at collection (LA) which are absolutely lovely. I wish their sales people weren't so lame. Hello, you're working retail - lets not pretend that you're the bees knees.

I totally lurked over to the SF Maiden Lane store, to see if the rumors were true. Alas, they were not. Fillmore was having a 50% off shoe sale on Dec. 30th, can't imagaine why they wouldn't have taken another markdown on those styles.
I guess I should stop complaining and just consider myself lucky that I live within walking distance of both of those stores. Next time!

They still have a few pairs of shoes at the Mercer St MJ boutique (mainly 36 and 39s but there are all sizes, although limited selection) and there are probably 20 or so pairs left at Bank and W. 4th--a better selection in the larger sizes. I got one pair of size 40 cross-strapped pumps and there are 2 pairs left (I didn't want to be greedy).
The Marc store, however, has nothing left.

SF kids: this is happening not at the Fillmore and Sacramento MxMJ but at the actual MJ store on Maiden Lane (off Union Square). Doors open at noon.
