Laura, 22, Guggenheim staffer
Got Her: At the Louis Vuitton party for Richard Prince’s exhibit closing.
Stalked Her: Actually, yes, we did – we spotted her outfit from three balconies above the Guggenheim floor.
Shot Her: Because her silhouette was sophisticated, but her bow was gutsy. That’s a good combo.
She Says: “Most of my outfit is Alice Roi, but the bow tie is actually from a Mariachi band!”
We Say: Play on!

You guys need better photogs! Or auto-focus
So adorable! I love the skirt.
I’ve always, always had a soft spot for bows
Love the combination of the high-waisted skirt, the Behnaz Target shirt and the mariachi bow. Bravo!
love the outfit,
but she looks very young despite her actual age..

Finally! An ensemble worth the Web Space! Bravo!
Oh God. Are you kidding me? She looks atrocious.
her haircut is godawful. it takes a sophisticated outfit and makes her look about nine.
Hmmmm…I like the pieces on their own but altogether, I don’t know.
It looks like she’s working the party, not attending it. “Umm Ma’am, here’s your handbag and wine…”
(I know that seems mean because she looks like a nice person…)
If her outfit is Alice Roi as she says it is, but one commenter says the skirt is American Apparel and another says her shirt is Behnaz for Target, then I really don’t think she has style. Isn’t the point to make the cheap items look expensive, not the expensive items cheap?
haha, I like it…god, that purse is FAB
i think she looks cute!
Now this is “ugly, tragic and geeky”.
Phew, she does not look 22. My guess would be 15 if you didn’t say she was elder.
Anyway, nice experimental outfit. But what could expect from someone who works at the Guggenheim? :D
Very Jenny Lewis like. I do agree that you might look into a new camera though. She’s all sorts of hazy.
wow, that skirt does look like it’s from american apparel. If it’s actually alice roi, that’s tragic for that girl. Her hand bag does not go with her outfit at all, and that haircut is so ridiculous.
With the horrible quality of your pictures you are doing a terrible justice not only to the outfits (details, details) and your well respected site, but most importantly to the people that allowed you take a picture. If I was a photo subject and saw a picture like that, I’d be disappointed.
she looks so geeky that it’s cute!! she’s like a thinner version of ugly betty.
Adorable! love the skirt, love the bow, love the bag, and LOVE the hair. what a classy, sophisticated look with a punch. simply lovely.
Boy…you know you’ve hit the big time when half the people LOVE your outfit and half of them HATE it! (“LOVE it”,by the way.) Are you sure I haven’t seen her in a movie? Look for more from this trend setter….sounds like she moves in a great circle and the paparazzi is bound to be close by.
Delightfully eclectic. Love the Mariachi influence. As cute as she is, she could model a paper bag and still look amazing!
