Got Her: On the corner of Little West 12th and Washington, on her way to lunch

Stalked Her: Because we've been dying to wear our high waisted wide leg jeans, but we just can't get them right in this weather.

Shot Her: Because she's pulled off a subtle, real-life take on the 70's shoot from last month's W, and we're in awe.

She Says: "I don't like to be too trendy, but I thought if I matched a quiet, billowy top with my trendier denim, it makes the look more classic. I just want to be comfortable, and still sophisticated."

We Say: Is it spring yet?!

OMG!!! She looks fantastic...the whole look is a great combo of retro and modern classiness. I just wish she had of added some jewelery though that would have been a great touch...Good look though.

Teen Vogue sent me a pair of Levi's High Rise Wide Leg jeans, they're a new style that Levi's is making and I have no idea what to wear with them! At the moment, I've gotten as far as figuring out that need heels of some sort and a tucked in shirt. I can't determine how to make them school-day appropriate.

I love how you guys are always anticipating spring! I'm in Houston, and that's how we are with fall...up until Thanksgiving it's too hot. The grass is always greener! If I could share my mild weather with you I would!

That she's pulled off the look can't be denied, but it's funny how one would assume she's aping last month's 70s-inspired W shoot, as opposed to (more originally) taking her inspiration from the decade itself.

Also: I've been wearing my high waisted, wide-legged dark blue jeans all winter long, and let me tell you, as someone who won't sacrifice warmth for cool, it ain't no thing! Short woolen jacket, boatneck sweater, silk headscarf, and you're good to go.
