I was in Australia two weeks ago and it seemed to me that neon colours were the IT colours for teens this summer. Teen shops like Supre had them in such full blast that I nearly went blind when I stepped in. Honestly, it seemed in poor taste as I walked through Melbourne one bright (both the sun and the neon trackpants)Saturday afternoon. Bought a tank top for a cousin though. Grey, with neon yellow pin stripes. I agree with beccaeve- subtle is definitely the way to go.

Yea, I’m going to do a little neon this spring. I have a pair of almost white express jeans that i have dyed an electric yellow. I’m going to pair them with a fresh white button up and white boat shoes….I’m breaking them out at my first fashion show at the end of March…so excited

With any trend I think moderation is key. I’d like to try neon shoes or a neon bead necklace. A blazer with neon contrast stitching might be fun and subtle.

Neon is cool. I love it. Always have. Hate when people wear way too much of it OR say that it’s just part of the whole ‘indie-rave’ phase.
