sandals double.jpg Reader Emily is amused that Urban Outfitters and Old Navy have the exact same sandals for sale right now.


We're amused that the Prada sandals from 2003 are still carrying so much influence on mass retailers.

Those aren't for sale anymore, but the Urban Outfitters pair are $38.

The Old Navy pair are $19.50.

Weirdly, Forever 21 had a far more convincing pair that straddled both the Prada and the Balenciaga versions last summer.

Or you can just borrow ours.

Not only that, Chinese Laundry will have a version coming out soon that I saw previewed at the MAGIC trade show!

I don't feel like either of those styles were that original to begin with. I've been seeing sandals like that in stores for like the last 10 years.
