We fell in love with a pair of boots this weekend. They’re vintage, mid-calf, flat, neither round nor pointed toe, and wait for it - they’re white.
White boots are generally terrifying. We spotted a girl wearing them at Whole Foods this morning and we actually recoiled in fear. Her feet looked huge, the heels were spiked and to be really blunt, she looked like she belonged on the street corner.
However, our white boots, (the ones currently hidden behind an uglier pair at Zachary’s Smile just in case we go back for them), are casual, and really cute in their minimalism.
We’d promise not to wear them with black or anything too mod. We’d promise to keep them clean. And we’d promise not to wear them with a sweatshirt, (like the girl at Whole Food’s). In short, we’d promise to do everything possible to wear them without looking cheap.
But does that make it ok?

Of course. You should wear what you love, and dress your mood. Life is too short to be unhappy and unsure about how we look. LOVE those white docs in the pic, too.
