First Look: Development Has Mean Girls, Skinny Pants

Top Model may cast a dudded group of girls, but not all reality mannequins are sans jobs:

Angelika, the mean-spirited and self-righteous cast member of TLC's A Model Life, is a regular face of Mike & Chris, and now she's the Look Book girl for Development's latest line.

Their Fall '08 collection boasts a print we think we saw in Austin Powers, plus some really cute skinny pants, and a lot of slouchiness.

Meanwhile, Angelika looks pretty much the same:

Like she'd never let you sit at her lunch table, but once you met her, you wouldn't want to anyway.

wow, the quality must be terrible - if the seams look this bad in samples, I can't imagine the real clothes.

i'm surprised you guys haven't posted anything about alice burdeu (she won the last cycle of AusNTM). she's been walking in a bunch of high profile shows (Proenza, D&G, Luella, etc). much better than Tyra's girls, who probably had some kind of deal that guaranteed them spots in the Proj. Runway show, huh?

What about some of the better girls from ANTM USA? Adrian Curry went straight to the D List. Am I just not seeing the other girls when I watched the shows during Fashion week? Or was the Cover Girl ad their 15 minutes of fame?

eeewww!! she UGLY!!! & its ok girl we all got bad hair days but to take "profesional" picx looking like that..u must have some guts ..............well ur terribly skinny so then u must have something .right? hahahahaha yeah maybe a TOP MODEL CONTRACT w/ ? but yeah... u no what i mean..jajajajajaja oh and tip wear a bra next time yeah you dont got no meat but that does not justify u not wearing a daum bra ok so do it...

we worked with angelika for la fashion week. we had no idea she was from a reality tv show otherwise we probably wouldn't have booked her. anyway, she was unbelievably nice. we saw 126 girls and only ended up casting about 18. as a result, we had to do three looks on some girls, including her. i think she was the only one that managed to change into all her looks on time. i liked her a lot and we'd definitely work with her again.
