How Much Is Too Much for Plastic?

Feb 29, 2008 @ 2:26pm

Subversive_LOOK_2.JPG We've examined the Subversive Jewelry for Target line, and now we have a question:

How much is too much for a mass-produced, "cheap" accessory?

Justin Giunta's latest collection of layered necklaces, bracelets, and earrings retails for higher than we'd expect:

$14.50 for a plastic bangle; $59.50 for the necklace at left.

We really like most of the stuff, but we don't know if we could fork over $60 for a string of Target jangles, especially since we know on clearance, it'll go down to like, $6.03 (the amount of our Erin-for-Target dress).

Since Justin's already made the money from his Target deal, we don't feel guilty if we wait to buy his jewels - but maybe we're being too stingy?

The necklace looks good! But it is plastic so not worth $60. so one option is to wait for clearance!! and yeah, cool people don't steal! =)
