Limited Addiction?

Fafi's MAC collaboration hits stores tomorrow. The famed grafitti artist's collection is sure to be another Special Edition sell out for MAC.

We loved the Barbie lipsticks, and the Alexander McQueen eyeliners, and with Heatherette next in line, we're curious:

Do you buy collector beauty?

We can maybe see the appeal if you're a big Fafi fan, or a makeup artist, but our big fear is falling in love with a particular limited edition shade, then poof! It's gone...only to be found for triple the price on eBay.

Do you simply use the empty compacts to accessorize your vanity? Or will you skip the eyeshadows and just purchase the adorable "Fafinette" doll as a keepsake?

Besides the pretty packaging, I love to buy limited edition makeup because it's guaranteed to be fresh and not have sat on a shelf collecting dust for who knows how long like its non-limited edition cousins...

I love Fafi and I love MAC! I don't think I'll get any of the colors, but I might order the T Shirt or Tote Bag.

I loved the Barbie line that MAC did with the vintage barbie sillouhette on the package and ads and such. But my friends kept being like, "why are you buying a kids line of makeup?" I agree with guest that its nice to know that the makeup is fresh and new when you open it.

I just like the pretty packaging. I find myself eyeshadows and compacts that just sit in my vanity drawer, although I've been addicted to lipstick for about a year now.

I love the interactive bedroom concept and the photo shoot (Is the model fafi? i can't tell. super cute regardless!). I will definately buy as much as i can. if only walking around with a heart painted on your cheek weren't so embarrassing, in real life...
