Are you in London for Fashion Week? Hope you've already got your tickets. We hear American editors at major magazines are scrambling, thanks to the frenzies surrounding both Vivienne Westwood and Henry Holland's upcoming shows. Some big glossy girls are being turned down entirely from entering Henry's show, while Westwood's PR people have issued curt emails telling well-heeled Americans they might be able to stand... if there's room. Of course the hype surrounding Westwood is three-fold: 1. She's a legend. 2. She's an advertiser in many major magazines. 3. Kate Moss is either opening or closing her show, at least according to Hilary Alexander, a legend herself, who told us backstage at Marc by Marc that "Kate is Vivienne's favorite model and probably one of her biggest fans. If she doesn't walk in her show, I'll be very surprised." More exciting is the fact that Henry Holland's first solo show is already totally full - though here's a hint to the distraught editors - just rush the building with the rest of the Central St. Martin's kids, and then find a prime place on the floor. It's not the most glamorous way to see his show, but we did it last year, and we've never had more fun...
