"Oh my gosh, it's Jerry Hall!" -- one clueless Texas tourist to another, outside the Tents in Bryant Park, as they spied stylist Rachel Zoe.

How do you know they were from Texas? Did they tell you where they were from?
As a former New Yorker and current Texan, I have to inform you that life outside of New York City does exist. I have been living comfortably in Dallas for the past five years--without all the overcrowding, the rudeness and the expense that comes with living in NYC. And I've also realized that people in Texas are not clueless--even when it comes to fashion.

Too funny. Btw, I think the dig here was on Rachel Zoe, not people from Texas.

Though it isn't a big deal, it's just funny that clueless tourists in film, TV and pretty much everywhere are always portrayed as Texans.
And Jerry Hall is much prettier, btw(And a Texan)!

As a Texan, born and raised, now living in New York, this isn't terribly surprising - yet I'm still offended because a southern accent does not always = Texas.

I agree that is more a dig on Zoe and was probably meant as a joke...
