Buy, Buy, Baby

Our New Solemate

oldnavyshoes.jpgAfter the Charlotte Ronson show last week, we ducked into Old Navy to get out of the freezing, sideways rain.

Of course we couldn’t actually enter and leave a store without purchasing something - even if in a not-so-exciting place like Old Navy.

We bought the shoes at left and we’ve worn them almost everyday since. In fact, yesterday’s grouchiness re: the “where did you get that question” probably arose from being stopped every five seconds to explain that yes, our shoes really are from Old Navy.

We’ve worn them with tights, with socks, with dresses and with jeans. We’re very klutzy and have yet to fall in them. And despite their heft, they’re actually very comfortable (for those of you of the cheap-shoes-are-impossible-to-walk-in persuasion).

They’ll probably be sold out before the first warm day; maybe we should buy another pair?

Those are so cute. I can't believe they're really from Old Navy. I think I might have to get them in brown.

i clicked the link and am still having a hard time believing those are old navy shoes. they're really cute. i guess more surprising for me is that you say they're comfy. i have some adorable canvas flats from there but they tore up my feet until i finally put in a heel cushion.

I had a rough week and needed some retail therapy, saw these on the site and went t get them. I couldn't find them in the Old Navy's in Seattle, do you think this is because it's too early in the season here or am I just too late?

i tried these on last week (not the wedge style ones, but the heels) at old navy and they were way too wide. i was so disappointed. i haven't seen sandals like them anywhere else for that cheap!

bought the khaki but had to return them -- the 7 fit like an 8 (and i'm a 6.5 -- that's right, these shoes only come in whole sizes)

returned them for the wine color -- very snug but very solid -- and plus my fashion friends (this is old navy??!) claim them to look like Marni's.
