i love sasha, but she is WAY too thin - especially for this spread. usually a sultry beach shot calls for a sexy, healthy, model. sasha should stick to what she's good at: haunting avant garde, NOT sports illustrated couture.

i love this shoot. they took a sports illustrated-like beach setting and made it high fashion. contradictions like that make fashion and photography so interesting.

Wow. I have to say, the 'emaciated look' I think works for this spread. I know, I know...terrible thing to say. Then again, the Sports Illustrated model would have looked great too...I do like Sasha's look, but I do like Gemma Ward and they look so very similar...
Well spotted - star earrings great choice. One of the few times I can say I like the pink. It looks great in these shots!

that is exactly the problem.
show it to us enough and only with deliberation can we see how absurd and disgusting it is.
i agree wholeheartedly with a comment seen on another blog: "she looks like a very lovely dead body".

i think this shoot is stunning! it's definitely edgy and strange. refreshing from all the over stuffed, over decorated, trying to be "hip" spreads of late. and remember all, this is camera perspective and photo shop! trust me, we can ALL be that skinny on photo shop!
