“Rachel Zoe was seen screaming and cursing because she couldn’t get in. She tried to fight her way in with thru the bouncers but they pushed her back and she ran off to her town car while those inside were rocking to Sonic Youth and happily sipping Moet.” —from a press release sent by Moet yesterday.

this nice story was first reported by New York Magazine and then used by Moët: http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/2008/02/rachel_zoe_throws_a_tantrum.html

company pr will send these releases to get included in the gossip columns, because it gets the name of their product out. that's why you'll read ridic items in usweekly, pagesix, etc. that'll namedrop celebs in the same line as a brand of alcohol that's sponsoring the event.

This kind of stuff actually makes me feel bad for Rachel Zoe. She's a friend of Marc's, his show's usually start 1-2 hours late and she arrived ten minutes after the start time and was justifiably upset she was missing it. I mean, we've ALL had a meltdown at one time or another - especially at the last show at the end of a very long fashion week. To have Moet (or their publicists) send out a press release like like this is beyond tacky, if you ask me.

she might not have been at the show. but she was def. at the party. she looked old, tired and not as super skinny as one would expect. she also plowed down anyone in her way (which at that party is always a load of dbs). suppose she did the round of dble kissin' because she certainly wasn't parked in front of the screens showing the show in loop...guess the fashions aren't really what it is all about...

That woman has the worst style. Besides maybe Lauren Conrad.
