We sat next to Minka Kelly and Ginnifer Goodwin at the Peter Som show yesterday. They were both gorgeous, very friendly, and the first starlets we've seen pay attention to the clothes and not the cameras. We loved that almost as much as we loved Som's collection. There were plaid Katharine Hepburn trousers. Droopy, oversized bows hung from the back of tweed skirts. He showed layered grandpa cardigans paired with fancy, gold tweed skirts. Silk dresses and blouses came in watercolor floral prints. Meghan Collison wore a wraparound plaid skirt with pleated tulle peeking out the bottom that made us drop our notebook on the floor. The nipped waists and ruched busts were very ladylike, as were the longer lengths, but almost every piece could be matched with a simple white t-shirt or jeans off the runway. And if we could get our hands on the first coat after the jump, we'd never take it off.
