Teen Vogue, Shopaholic

ind_nav_look_f2.gif ShopVogue continues to sell the best of the season's advertisements, and perhaps it's a growing success with revenue.

That's the only explanation we can find for the new Teen Vogue Look Books, a series of click-through galleries (on a totally separate website) that encourage Teen Vogue readers to shop through their favorite magazine.

The fun: The site lets you point and click on about a hundred outfits.

The funny: Even though Teen Vogue is one of the most aspirational books out there, it's proffered merchandise isn't - there isn't a thing on this site that you can't buy at the suburbia mall, and most of it costs under $50.

Much like a 10th grade gymnast, the site looks a bit underfed - we'll be checking back in the next few months to see how it fills out (and how quickly they can get Vera Wang Princess perfume as one of their sale items!).

my favorite part of this new website is that for one of the girls in the Oneill 2 slideshow the typist wrote

In It For... “Serenity; Combination of peach, love, happiness. It’s serenity!””

which is actually funnier than what the girl really wrote.
