Tres Lhuillier

We've spent much of the week feeling sorry for the people who get their photograph taken right and left, it just seems annoying.

But this morning, at the Monique Lhuillier show, we wished we were one of them. If we were, we'd probably attend more red carpet events, and they'd probably be in our honor, and then we could wear Lhuillier's dresses all the time.

Lhuillier covered her dreamy dresses in feathers, jewels, glitter, sequins and ribbons without going overboard. The looks were primarily monochromatic, accented with jeweled buckles, gold brooches and even peacock feathers.

We bet the front row girls, including Brittany Murphy, Joy Bryant, Kim Raver and the ubiquitous Sophia Bush already claimed their favorites.

And in these dresses, even we wouldn't mind getting photographed.

i was there!!!

it was some of the most beautiful clothes i have ever seen. it was jaw dropping.

maybe it's just me and i haven't seen any model in person but...
THEY WERE ALL SO SKINNY. they didn't even look human. they didn't look healthy.. pretty! but not healthy.

i didn't not see sophia bush there either! was she in the same row as brittany murphy?

These dresses are gourgeous, I wish I could have stayed all week to attend this show; now about the girls in the front row, they are paid or given dresses to attend the shows. Don't feel sorry for them, they will be wearing one of these frocks next fall season and for free.

omg i wish i could go to a big name fashion show! how did you get in?
the most i've been able to do is go and see local shows of boutiques and some student shows at the university i attend. they're pretty good though for what they are: one person designing and making the clothes.

Tell me, though, does that woman in the picture that is 4th from the bottom have a LULULEMON BAG with her?! I mean, really... please don't go validating every dumb young girl who thinks they're fashionable. It's a gym bag, people.

Omg! That Black Dress pic 12 just screams glamour. Oscar winner type of glamour. I can't wait for someone like Charlize Theron or Jennifer Garner to wear something like that. Maybe even Keira Knightley even though she bugs me.

Does anybody know the footwear used in this runway? Are they Louboutins, Blahniks, Choos,...? I really am loving the 3-strap heels! They're so reminiscent of the 20s yet modern and chic. I've got to buy me a pair!!!I'm so totally obsessed with them... Help!!! Thanks.
