Victoria's Secret's New Girl: Behati Prinsloo

Ever since Gisele resigned from Victoria's Secret, we've been killing to know which new girls the brand's got in their stable.

Well, today we've got one:

Behati Prinsloo.

The 20-year-old Namibian will make her first big appearance for Victoria's Secret next month at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami, when the Pink line has a giant pool and pajama party.

Behati will be joined by veteran VS babe Miranda Kerr, plus Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado from Laguna Beach... wait, sorry The Hills... wait sorry, Total Uselessness.

Although, we guess anyone from US Weekly will be interested to know they're hosting a bikini party - surely if Brody were still with Lauren Conrad, she wouldn't allow such behavior?

I went back to the States last Christmas for the first time in three years, planning to stock up on cheap VS underwear (thank you dollar/pound exchange rate). To my horror, all the bras seem to be made out a strange, reversible foam. The only decent thing I could find was from an Italian brand that VS had partnered up with. Weird...

Wow, she is so un-sexy. There are some gorgeous girls out there. Marina Lynchuk looks like a contemporary version of Carol Alt for example... and they go with a pale depressed-looking Behati????

I think Behati is plenty sexy. I adored her Hilfiger campain (and I strongly dislike Tommy Hilfiger, so that was quite an accomplishment on Behati's part).

But I hate losing her to VS. As far as I'm concerned, they take the ever so slightly more wholesome, ever so slightly more conventionally pretty high fashion models, and make them homogenous, boringly "hott". When I think the fashion industry needs faces like Doutzen's and Behati's, if only to contrast with the likes of Sasha Pivovarova and, lately, Lily Donaldson (whom I loved in the Max Mara campain, and who scared me in the latest Burberry campain, where her elbows were wider than her upper arms, a sure sign of emaciation).

Doutzen is already with VS. And I'm sure Behati has the body, or else they wouldn't have chosen her. She definitely has the face.

I hope Behati doesn't become a 'usual' VS model. If you will see, only Gisele has been able to maintain magazine editorials and campaigns when she joined VS. All the girls especially Adriana and Alessandra just concentrate on VS. No variety.
