A Strange Spotting

Natalie: Ha. You know it’ll get cold three more times before it’s actually spring.

Britt: Noooo! It’s really really here! I even saw a girl yesterday wearing the new YSL Spring Tribute Sandals. The weird thing was she wore them with white athletic socks. Like thick white socks, over her black tights, under her sandals.

Natalie: Oh my God! I saw that girl! I couldn’t figure out what was going on - are we supposed to be wearing running socks outside of the gym now?!

Britt: Um, I hope not. She was French, and so chic, but that’s one thing I definitely don’t want to try and pull off.

Natalie: Maybe she was just keeping her feet warm. Since this is still fake spring.

Britt: Please stop saying that! Spring IS here.

Spring might be in NY but Mtl is still under the spell of pseudo spring... Rocking those champs in tube socks would be the only thing to do... And I too am not up for the challenge :)

I have those with the lower heel and they are SO comfortable! I too will wear them with socks. I think that is so cool and unexpected.

reminds me of that teen vogue shoot a few months ago. all the models were wearing strappy heels with ankle socks.

those shoes are fug... and wearing them with white socks would make them even fuglier.

FYI, Barneys has them on their web site with the lower heel. The store is sold out but has only the largest sizes left.

I'm drooling over this too... are goreous specially because they looks very similar to the ones that Mary Kate wore in paris...MUST HAVE...and in the higher hell....the lower kind of kill the chic effect

did anyone else notice that the link takes you to a t-strap sandal and the sandal in the image doesn't have the t strap?

You have to have the right size legs to pull that look off. They can't bee too big. Otherwise, you look very dumpy. I don't particularly like the look, but if it's done properly, I'm sure it looks good on somebody...

If you wear socks inside your heels for a day it stretches them just a little.
