Who knew Perez Hilton was a source of breaking fashion news?

Yesterday the Manic Panicked blogger posted a shot of Agyness Deyn in Paris, getting photographed for the new Reebok campaign!

We think the face of Armani, Mulberry, and Burberry will be a brilliant fit for the brand, especially since they've let Scarlett Johansson and Christina Ricci put their stamps on the sneakers before.

There's only one problem:

Agyness has famously claimed she never works out -

How will that fare with a sporting goods company?

Maybe nu rave dancing and DJing counts as cardio...

why does working out hold a negative stigma with the hipster crowd? Last time I checked, having strong bones, muscles and organs and being in overall good health is a great goal no matter how cool you are????

They probably don't care for the training aspect of it, are nike dunks actually targeted at basketballers? And weren't reebok the ones who released those tron-esque fluro glow in the dark robot shoes? They're clearly trying to establish themselves as a fashion shoe not a training shoe

She claims to never work out but also has a fake name and age. Even if she doesn't treadmill it like the rest of us, you know she works her ass off.

maybe the white shoe-thing is in homeage to brian jones or mick jagger. i've read a patti smith quote saying she only wore white shoes in homage to them.

No amount of high fashion or celebrity endorsements are going to lift Reebok out of its moribund state! That brand has been on life support forever, and it's completely beyond Agyness's power to revive it.
