Accessories: One of our first thoughts in the morning.
Today’s subway side dreams: The heavy costume jewelery from the recent Paris runways.
The heavy, statement necklaces seen at Louis Vuitton, John Galliano and Yves Saint Laurent, have us thinking of inventive (read: cheaper) ways of weighing down our own necks.
So we’re eyeing this sterling-silver filigree necklace (breastplate?) from designer Catherine Weitzman from Brooklyn boutique Sodafine.
We’re picturing it as a way of offsetting the flimsy dresses we’ve been collecting the past month.
Or maybe as a kind of cute nod to the gladiators we’re sure we’ll buy once again in a few weeks?

I don't know... it's kinda scary-looking. My first impression was 'is it a bat?'
