Erin O'Conner (With apologies to Lauren at Portfolio for the name swipe...)


Today, Slate hosts a photo gallery called "Models Eating."

The whole thing is a little perverse, since really, maybe 6 of the 15 models in the images are actually eating, the rest are just posing with food (and Jessica Stam is eschewing it altogether in favor of a cigarette).

Still, the whole thing is sort of fun, especially if - as we did - you turn the slide show into a fun little game of "name the model."

We'll start you off with number one - that's Erin O'Conner (also at left) eating McDonalds before a British Fashion Week show.

Can you name the rest?

Awwwh, that was a little disappointing. Not only were some of them, as stated, just posing with food, some of the pictures are from nearly ten years ago... strange...

I find it funny that they had to dig twenty years into their archives in order to present a list of models eating.

1987? 2001? 1996? that is really awful that the fashion industry doesnt promote models with healthier body images and healthier eating habbits. half of these girls have eating disorders. im so over it.
