"Ever since childhood I have been paranoid about being the daughter of someone famous...I can't say I don't want fame...I take great pleasure in being seen...I don't want to live the life of a star...I guess I enjoy it, though...In England you laugh at yourselves, in France we laugh at others...I'm p***ed off that we have a President who is wearing Prada...I love going to New York. No one cares there. I go to Starbucks in an enormous hat, dressed up as a boy, with a fake moustache. Everyone says: “What a lovely moustache.” --Lou Doillon in a rambling article she wrote for The London Times, to promote her new line for denim brand Lee Cooper.

The girl is beautiful but not very smart. I've read IM conversations that were more coherent AND readable.

She is so right about New York. That is precisely why New York is my favorite city. It affords a certain kind of anonimity hard to find elsewhere. And there are people who look so different from each other that it feels like a real, breathing place.

Please can we talk about how much fun the moustache thing sounds.
Albeit not such a great way to run into an ex or anything.

She's clearly obsessed with herself. Oh wow Lou, you're sooo kooky wearing a moustache to Starbucks! What an adorably zany girl.
Pfft, It's one thing to get famous off a famous mother, but she needs to get her own style and atleast have a different haircut to Jane Birkin.

Gotta love Lou. I know I do!
