Interview Wants to Interview You

marilyn andy interview.jpgHere's your chance to get in on the new Interview - the fashion department is looking for interns!

You will:

1. Catalog tons of clothes in the library of the Astor building at Broadway and Prince - so you can slave in style.

2. Get to know tons of publicists via e-mail when you hound them for fashion credits for all spreads.

3. Tag the issues for monthly mail-outs.

4. Assist on shoots.

5. Arrange look books in Annabel Tollman's office.

6. And, if they like you, help with market work, try on samples and think of heds and deks.

Send resumes (one page, seriously) and cover letters (no more than two small paragraphs, and in the same attachment as the resume, seriously) to Sydney Wasserman at SWasserman@Brantpub.com.

PS. Like all fashion internships, this one is unpaid, but they do reimburse you for your Metro card.

unless you have a ny address and are readily available for an interview they probably won't call you back.

what tips do you have for someone who'd like to try to get her first internship? (HS senior, almost 18)

i know they want a resume, etc. but obviously one has to start somewhere - my resume only includes 2 informal internships and 1 summer job, neither of which are directly fashion related (one is art and one dance related)

Is it possible to intern for Interview if you're a highschool student? If not, are there any internships in the fashion industry that accept high school students?

About this internship:
-we will accept overseas applicants if they will be in NYC for at least 3 months
-this is for immediate hire... will also be looking for summer interns
- we havent hired high school students before but if you are hard-working and have tough-skin, we'll consider!
