Laurie Bing Takes Some Kate Moss Turf At Rimmel

There's only one thing we like more than Rimmel's smoky eyeliner, and it's Rimmel's forever face, Kate Moss.

Of course, being a style icon, a "designer," a mom, and maybe the best partier of the late 20th century does take a lot of time, and so Ms. Moss can't be available for every shoot.

Enter Laurie Bing, a young model, who recently posed for some Rimmel looks sans the great Kate in New York City.

The photos will only be shown to beauty editors and makeup industry professionals, at least for now. But with her doe-eyed gaze and wispy figure, it's not hard to see how Ms. Bing could be another rock and roll waif in the making.

That is, if Francis Bean Cobain doesn't beat her to it.

kate moss is a big part of fashion and its history, and is gorgeous, yes don't get me wrong. But what we tend to forget is that she's not JUST a model anymore, and hasn't been for a long time. she's a famous figure and someone a lot of young girls look up to, i know it's a tired argument. but the world knows about her problems and her handlings, and i just can't get over how everyone basically revered her in light of her recklessness with drugs. not alot of non-fashion people know who deyn and rocha are yet, but everyone knows kate moss and pretty much think that that's how all fashion and all models are - drugged out partiers. she just does not seem to care that it's not just clothes she's modeling, it's a lifestyle, and that she's so flippant about it is very dangerous.

so it is very nice to see a fresh new face, with a fresh new slate. that's all.

I just wanted to alert everyone that Laurie Bing is NOT the new face of Rimmel and she was just a sit-in model to showcase new fall looks created with Rimmel products to beauty editors ONLY. The above is not true! Kate Moss is still the stunning face of Rimmel.

First of all...what a stunning young lady. And I think it's time that these major brands start using different girls. I am sick to death of Kate Moss, yes she is beautiful, but way too much drama. I don't want my daughter to end up like her. The drugs, the crazy lifestyle. It's enough already. Out with the druggies and in with the new fresh faces. And it's nice to see that this lady is not so strange looking, like all the other models I see in Vogue.

I just wanted to alert everyone that not only is Laurie Bing beautiful...but she is the sweetest thing since sliced bread. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is polite and kind. She would never be a junkie. She comes from a good family. The only thing about this article that is not true is that she is English. She is from America, Texas I believe. As for what she has done for Rimmel, it is a step in the right direction. And I am sure they will use her again.
My hats off to Laurie and Rimmel for venturing out of the same old thing.

I am part of that good family that she comes from! She's an amazingly beautiful person, inside and out and an AWESOME model. Rimmel is lucky to have her. I think she does great things for them and she's a great face to represent them. Oh and not only is she from America...she's TEXAN...even better. :)
