Marc Ad Spoof: Still a Mystery

Mar 19, 2008 @ 9:31am

fake marc ad.jpgEven WWD can't figure out who's behind the fake Marc ads we all sat watching yesterday afternoon.

All they could confirm was what we already knew - that there's no way the ads are real Marc.

It looks like nobody has any idea who shot them, or even the identity of the two guys who played dress-up for it.

Our bet goes to a Parsons photography student making a show of his final project. In which case, we'll all be dancing at the exhibit opening in no time.

I don't think it's anyone at Parsons. I'd probably know about it because no one in that department can keep a damn secret.

I suspect it's some clothing line busting onto the scene in a brilliant way.

Even if it's not apart of the senior show [since that's the only final exhibit we have] will you still come to my photo senior show in May? ;)

It's definitely a client of this ad agency:
hart+Larsson
www.hartlarsson.com/

If you check out who registered the domain name, it's them.
